The decor's got some charm, especially the old photographs that really bring out the aesthetic. You can't beat those front porch views—great spot to relax, even with the road in between and all.

Parking in the back is pretty tight, and you might have to scramble for street parking, which can get frustrating. The wireless connection had its moments, dropping out one evening, and the wooden floors creak quite a bit—might want to bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Climate control is controlled by the whole house's thermostat—no personal settings in the room, which can leave you sweating or shivering. Some of the dresser drawers weren't fully operable, and the overall vibe seemed a bit rustic, bordering on worn in some areas, like slanted floors and old fixtures. Don't forget breakfast needs to be booked the night before, and it's served in just a one-hour window—one little hiccup for morning plans.

our stay at old bank house was fantastic, especially during our wedding ceremony. the breakfast went beyond expectations with delicious extras, and we loved the beautiful view across from the park. the unique decor and friendly atmosphere made our experience truly memorable.

the bathroom shelf in our room needed repairs.

i was really expecting a more luxurious experience, but the garden room was barebones, with exposed drywall screws and burned out bulbs, how quaint. and don’t even get me started on the neglected grounds. i expected some sort of welcoming gift for my troubles—anything would’ve sufficed. i almost wrote a decent review, but just couldn’t.

The breakfast was just splendid, especially sittin' outside in the sun. Got to enjoy a lovely view while munchin' on some fluffy pancakes. Ope, the staff was super friendly too! The rooms felt so cozy and the whole place had a warm vibe. Just a short stroll to the shops, which was perfect. Wouldn’t change a thing!

If you’re looking for a cozy B&B vibe, this feels more like a hotel.

It was just a good match for a short layover in Niagara-on-the-Lake with reasonable price. The drinks station on the landing was very well organized and made it easy to grab a refreshing drink after a long day. If you're an early riser, plan accordingly since breakfast is served only for an hour.
