The Sylvia Hotel in Vancouver was an excellent value for the money. The rooms were spacious and the beds super comfortable. The location right on English Bay was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful.

One small thing that could make the morning meal even better would be to have a wider selection of breakfast options.

Staying here was a fantastic way to celebrate my b-day! The hotel is located right on English bay and has beach access, which was perfect for me and my dogs. The staff, from chambermaids to front desk, are outstanding and go out of their way to provide excellent service. The room amenities, such as air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a sitting area, were fantastic. I loved the restaurant and bar/lounge area too.

The room we stayed in had two comfortable Queen beds and a cozy seating area. We had a good side-view of English Bay and enjoyed fresh air from our open windows. The location was also great for walking to nearby restaurants and exploring the neighborhood.
