We had a grand breakfast at Sunway Hotel in a great location with hawker stalls nearby. the hotel had good parking for our rental car and the staff were friendly, especially towards kids. the location was very convenient, near the Komtar bus station which had excellent connections around Penang. We were even upgraded to a Club Room, which was fantastic in terms of facilities and layout. the breakfasts were excellent and there were plenty of local hawker foods available in the evening. the service was good and the rooms were clean. the location was perfect, being very near town.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Its location in the center of town was perfect as we were able to easily get to all the sites we wanted to visit without having to deal with heavy traffic. The staff were also incredibly helpful and attentive, providing us with great service from the moment we arrived until we checked out. The room amenities were top-notch, including the free wi-fi, mini-bar, and in-room safe. We also appreciated the room service and laundry facilities which made our stay more convenient.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

The complimentary lemon water urns with glasses were a lovely touch to welcome us. the hotel's location was central and convenient with lots of food options nearby. We also appreciated the free shuttle bus which took us to local sights. the breakfast team members, Joe and Fiq were very friendly and welcoming.

That being said, there were some negative aspects that we had to deal with. the gym equipment definitely needs updating and the airflow in the room was poor with locked windows and ineffective air conditioning.

The room had all the amenities we needed, and the bed was comfortable. there were welcome snacks and drinks available, which was a nice touch. One day, after a business luncheon, we enjoyed the convenience of having snacks in the hotel. The location close to the main commuting hub made it easy for us to explore the city.

It was a bit difficult to drive and park in the vicinity.
