I recently stayed at a motel in Sault Ste. Marie and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The staff was friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. The room had fresh sheets, plenty of clean towels, and a nice bathroom with complimentary soap. Despite the motel's dated furnishings, it provided all the basic amenities, including a mini fridge, coffee maker, and a good running TV. The free WiFi was a bonus. Although the motel seemed a bit sketchy at first, it turned out to be a quiet, safe, and well-lit area. The location was also convenient, right off the Trans Canada Highway. While the motel could use some updates, it was a great value for the price, especially for a tired traveler like myself. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a clean and inexpensive place to stay.

Absolutely nothing.

The motel had a great location, with everything I needed just minutes away. the staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay more comfortable. the room had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, which was convenient for my business trip.

The bathroom lacked a shelf to place toiletries, and there was no light in the luggage storage area, making it difficult to find things. the presence of extra blankets occupying all the drawers and the only available shelf was a bit excessive.

Marie for a few nights. The owner/operator was really nice and helpful. The room was newly renovated and clean, with a comfortable bed, cable TV with all channels, a fridge, microwave. The location was great, especially if you don't have a vehicle, as there was a bar and grill next door, and Tim Hortons, McDonald's. The price was also fantastic, making it a great deal.

The lack of a deadbolt on the door made me feel a bit uneasy as a solo female traveler.
