The location of the hotel on Highway 40 makes it easily accessible for travelers heading to the Vancouver area. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the lake, and take advantage of the canoes, kayaks, hot tub, saunas, and steam room. Plus, the staff is extremely helpful and welcoming, providing excellent service. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with necessary amenities, ensuring a pleasant stay for guests.

One drawback mentioned by a guest is that the lake facing rooms can become quite warm in the afternoon and evening, and could benefit from having a fan for better air circulation.

The rooms and common areas at Tyax Lodge were beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Despite the remote location, the lodge provided excellent TV and Wi-Fi service. Additionally, the staff were always friendly, polite, and ready to assist. The best part was the range of free recreational facilities available, making our stay even more enjoyable.
