My experience at The Westin Bayshore was nothing short of frustrating. Despite pre-paying for our stay, we experienced issues that left us feeling unvalued as guests. Not to mention, the pool access policy was rigid and unfriendly, preventing us from enjoying the facilities even briefly after checkout. To add insult to injury, we faced problems with room service availability and notification of deliveries, leaving us to fend for ourselves without adequate support from the staff.

The amenities were impressive, and the

outdoor pool was the perfect spot to unwind. I loved that the hotel was so close to the waterfront, making walks to Stanley Park easy. However, I did find some areas, like the hallways, were in need of a refresh, which was a little surprising.

Unfortunately, the internet was unreliable during the stay, and the room had noticeable drafts from the windows. There was only one bathrobe provided, and even with a request for a second, it never arrived. The hotel was packed due to an event, which led to a frustrating 15-minute wait for breakfast, only to be left with a disappointing buffet experience. While we received a small credit upon checkout as compensation for our issues, it didn't fully reflect the overall inconvenience faced during our stay.

However, the internet connectivity was unreliable, which was frustrating when trying to plan outings. Additionally, while I appreciated the spacious room with stunning views, there were some issues with staff responsiveness during busy times. Still, the overall experience was enjoyable and memorable.

It was just a top selection for a couple of nights in Vancouver with good price-quality ratio. Enjoyed the entertainment on Sunday afternoon in the lounge—definitely a nice surprise. Check if any events are happening during your stay for some added fun.
