The breakfast options were disappointing, especially for Western food. the room was average size and had a dark atmosphere. the bathroom had large windows that needed to be covered for privacy. the housekeeping service was good and the towels were fluffy. the subway was conveniently located nearby.

The hotel charged additional fees for tax, service, and parking. the service line staff were extremely rude and unprofessional.

The Grand Mercure hotel was an absolutely excellent find. The facilities were brilliant, with a big bedroom and modern bathroom. The location was convenient, near the train station and subway line. The breakfast buffet was large and included in the rate. The bed was super comfortable.

Noisy and Misleading Amenities. I could hear everything my neighbors were saying and I was constantly disturbed by people walking by.

The location was extremely convenient, especially for taking the metro or interstate trains. The staff, including the receptionist, concierge, and handyman, were all friendly. I had a positive experience at this hotel.

The breakfast could have been better, particularly the fried dumpling sausages which were cold when I arrived at 9am. Additionally, there was a lack of forks and knives, and no one greeted me or asked if I needed coffee.

The location was convenient, with the metro just a 2-minute walk away and Shanghai station a quick 5-minute walk across the road. I had a comfortable and enjoyable experience at this hotel.
