Exceptional

I must say that my recent stay at Shangri-La was exceptional. The staff was very attentive and the service was top-notch. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, including some local specialties. The swimming pool was also a highlight of my stay. I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good location near town square. Spacious with large gym and pool. Received voucher for room service. Quiet room. Excellent service from staff at Horizon Club Lounge. Compliments to them for warm hospitality. Comfortable bed with great view of river. Centrally located near tourist spots and shopping malls. Satisfying stay, value for money in this area.

We loved the breakfast and cocktail at the Horizon Club Lounge, with excellent service from Mr. Arthur Ananyev, Claire Gu, and Katrina. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the river. The staff, including housekeeping, were courteous and prompt. The location was centrally located and within walking distance of shopping malls and tourist spots.

Not one thing.

The best part about my stay was the incredibly helpful staff. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Also, the facilities were spotless and the breakfast buffet was amazing. I loved the variety of dishes they offered.

Aspects:

The hotel had a convenient location, close to the Bund, train station, and downtown area. the morning buffet was expansive and the food quality was very good. Additionally, the corner-view room had a comfortable bed and a nice view towards the river.

There was a large construction site behind the hotel, causing noise and potential view impact. Additionally, the wifi was not great and the lobby-lounge, which served as the bar, had slow service and didn't provide a true bar experience.

Helpful staff, clean facilities, great breakfast, perfect location and room views, good wifi signal.

Nothing not to love.

The hotel had a grand lobby and nice lake views. It was also well-appointed with comfortable rooms and large bathrooms including both a bath and shower. the staff at breakfast were friendly and even the chef pointed out local treats. the hotel also offered a good price value.

The hotel desperately needed English-speaking staff. Communicating with them was a challenge if you couldn't speak Chinese, which took up a significant amount of time during the stay.

The facilities at Shangri-La were top-notch, perfect for families with kids. The gym and pool were excellent, and they even offered free swimming lessons. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a wide variety of choices. The staff, especially Artur, Claudia, and Seven from the Horizon club, were incredibly accommodating. the hotel provided a comfortable and elegant experience.

The hotel felt like a home away from home, with nothing being too much trouble for the staff.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my stay memorable. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and the gym and pool were spacious and excellent. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location of the hotel was great, as it was only a 5-minute walk from the river walk and about a 10-minute walk to the major shopping area. I also appreciated the convenience of having small convenience stores nearby.

Great location near the rivers and in the center of the city. the view from the hotel is really nice. the breakfast buffet had a good variety of food options.

The rooms were not all ready upon check-in, causing some delay. the staff at the pool front desk were not very helpful and doubted my capability to find towels.

The value for money at Shangri-La was excellent, with a spacious and tidy room. The location was convenient, within walking distance to shopping malls and tourist spots. The staff were friendly and helpful, truly making my stay enjoyable.

The breakfast experience could have been improved by adding more variety to the menu.

The breakfast at Database Breakfast on the 28th floor is superb with excellent service. The spacious rooms are comfortable and have great views. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

We recently stayed at a hotel in Ningbo for a weekend getaway and had a pleasant experience. the breakfast had a good variety of food options and we especially enjoyed trying some of the local specialties. the hotel's location was also convenient, as it was within walking distance of several shopping malls and tourist attractions. Additionally, the indoor swimming pool, spa, and gym facilities were great amenities to have after a day of exploring.

One downside of our stay was the check-in process. It took longer than expected for both of our rooms to be ready, and there was some confusion regarding the room type and bed sizes.

Room size good. Great value for money. Amazing breakfast and warm welcome from staff, especially chef Tim. Good facilities with swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. Overall a great relaxing weekend.
