My recent stay at Hotel El Cogollo was fantastic! We were in Barichara for a weekend getaway and chose this hotel for its unique design and great reviews. The traditional breakfast served with care and wonderful energy was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and the hotel's combination of traditional elements with a modern and creative finish made it a visually stunning place to stay. The mirador provided breathtaking views of the canyon below, and the short walk through town to get there was a pleasant experience. The cool breeze made for delightful nights of sleep. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time at El Cogollo! the whole place had a cool, "at one with nature" vibe. We loved having the run of the place with hammocks to swing in, terraces to sun ourselves on, and a cold Jacuzzi to chill in. the location was perfect, allowing us to be close to everything in Barichara while still enjoying a quiet atmosphere. the breakfast served by the helpful staff was delicious and we appreciated being able to enjoy it at our leisure. the rooms were clean and had a funky, rustic charm to them. We also enjoyed the beautiful landscaping and architecture of the hotel. a tranquil and charming experience.
