We had a fantastic stay at the garden hostel. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. the common area was a great place to relax, with hammocks and seating options surrounded by a beautiful garden. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, the village center, and the boat station. Our three-bed room was small but clean, well-equipped, and had a spacious shower. We especially enjoyed the canoe tour organized by the hostel, led by a great guide named Israel. We would definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed at Aracari Garden in Tortuguero for a few nights with my girlfriend. The surrounding space was incredibly nice, with divans and hammocks to relax in. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, equipped with fans that were a welcome alternative to AC. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with arranging fun activities. The owner even made us a refreshing starfruit smoothie on our last day. The common area was lovely, with comfy beds and tables to lounge on. The excursions organized by the staff were excellent, and the breakfast at the small bistro was delicious.

Would recommend this hotel.

The rooms and showers were great, and I loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. the common areas were perfect for relaxing, with comfy sofas and hammocks. the staff were super friendly and helpful, and they even offered free coffee all day. the location was fantastic, just a short walk from the main street and close to the beach. Plus, they had a little restaurant with veggie and vegan options, which was a bonus.

The kitchen could have been cleaner, but that's probably because some people didn't clean up after themselves. the shower water wasn't warm, which was a bit disappointing.

I had the best shower I've had in Central America at this friendly and comfortable accommodation. The water was hot and the water pressure was perfect. The staff even went above and beyond by walking us to our boat and waiting until we boarded. I highly recommend this place.

I had an amazing Christmas stay at a garden hostel in Tortuguero. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing me with all the necessary information and arranging tours for me. The hotel had a great location, just a short walk away from the beach and the main street with shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice hot shower. I also appreciated the communal kitchen, which was well-equipped and provided coffee, condiments, and cooking oil.

There were a few negative aspects to my stay. The kitchen could use an update, as some of the frying pans were in poor condition.

The staff at this place were amazing! From the friendly receptionist to the helpful owner and tour guide, everyone was welcoming and knowledgeable. They made my stay truly exceptional. Plus, the location was perfect - just a short walk to the beach and the main road. I loved being so close to everything. And let's not forget about the comfortable beds and the large showers - such a treat after a long day of exploring.

I have to mention that the private room I stayed in was a bit musty and humid at night. It wasn't unbearable, but it could have been better.

They even organized fantastic tours for me, like the canal tour and turtle night discovery. The hostel itself was clean and safe, with daily cleaning service. I loved the beautiful jungle garden and the hammocks where I could relax and spot amazing wildlife like toucans and iguanas. The beds in the chilling area were so inviting, and the atmosphere was perfect for a quick nap. The hostel also had a fully equipped kitchen and a lovely open common area where I could meet and chat with other travelers. this hostel provided excellent value for money.

I was warmly welcomed by Louis when I arrived, and Silvia provided me with all the necessary information about the hostel and the tours they offer. the dorm room was spacious and clean, and the showers were the best I've had in Costa Rica. the hostel's garden was beautiful, with hammocks and many birds and iguanas. the kitchen was well-equipped, and the common areas were spacious.

This hidden gem is perfectly located just steps away from the beach and all the local attractions. The cozy rooms are equipped with a clothes line on the porch, screens on every window, and a night-time security guard. The shared kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need, including a microwave, gas cooker, and blender. The helpful staff is always available to offer advice and organize tours. And did I mention the refreshing sea breeze and toucans in the gardens?

The WiFi can be slow at times, but considering the remote location, it's understandable.

As low-budget travelers, we loved the helpful staff, clean rooms, and well-equipped kitchen. The garden was a cute and refreshing spot to relax, and we enjoyed seeing toucans and iguanas. The location was perfect, being quiet yet close to the beach, main street, and national park.

Felt very well taken care of, no complaints whatsoever.
