We stayed in the villa for 5 nights and it exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, and the living area had plenty of space for our family. The bathroom was luxurious and the shower was big and relaxing. The king-sized bed in the bedroom was incredibly comfortable. The staff at Best Western were incredibly helpful and kind. We were even upgraded to the villa for free! The free kayaks were a great bonus, although be prepared to transport the equipment to the beach yourself. it was a fantastic experience!

I loved the location of this hotel, as it was just across the road from the beach. It was so convenient to be able to walk to the beach myself. The hotel facilities were great, especially the pool and restaurant area with an amazing view of the sunset from the roof. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fruits to enjoy. The staff was helpful, from setting up a private taxi for our airport transfer to providing beach towels for our use.

For us, it was ideal.

One downside mentioned by some guests was that the bed wasn't as comfortable as they were accustomed to.

The check-in shack is conveniently located right by the beach, making it easy to hop straight into water activities. They even cater to beginners, providing a warm and welcoming experience for those with little experience in water sports. On the top level, there is a bar and restaurant where you can enjoy delicious meals and refreshing drinks. Friday nights are especially vibrant with live salsa music, adding to the lively atmosphere.

Some parts of the hotel, such as the room and bathroom, can be quite small and cramped.

I got great value for my money at Best Western in Tamarindo. The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a fantastic air-conditioner. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.

The morning meal could've been improved with more variety.

Loved that my dog was allowed and there were accommodations for him, including separate areas for breakfast and water provided. Great amenities in the rooms like hair shampoo and conditioner and a water boiler. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Marie Cruz, Marie Sol, and Sharon at the bar. Fantastic organization and competent staff compared to other places in Tamarindo. Stunning sunset views from the terrace and room. Amazing beach view from the 3rd floor. Spacious villa-style rooms with all necessary facilities. Convenient location, close to the town center and just a minute walk from the beach. Attentive housekeeping and helpful in arranging transportation.
