I had a wonderful stay at Arenal Waterfall Lodge. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They even upgraded our room when they saw we were concerned about the steep road leading to our assigned chalet. The restaurant served a delicious and filling breakfast, and the property itself was beautiful. We loved exploring the walking trail and visiting the nearby La Fortuna waterfall. Plus, the location was perfect, just a short drive to the lively city of La Fortuna.

The road to the rooms can be a bit daunting at first, especially if you're not used to steep roads. It took us a day or two to get adjusted, but it was still a bit scary.

The value for money at the Waterfall Lodge was incredible. The room was spacious, bright, and had a separate area for our child, which opened right onto the pool. The location was peaceful and allowed us to reconnect with nature, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast delights could have been improved with more variety in the menu options.

the hotel exceeded my expectations with its friendly staff, clean rooms, and stunning views of Cerro Chato. The free welcome drink and access to hiking trails were a nice touch. I especially enjoyed birdwatching on the patio while sipping my morning coffee.

Mattress was uncomfortable.

The views were absolutely stunning and the location was perfect. Being in the middle of nature and away from the city was exactly what I was looking for. The hiking trails around the property were fantastic, and I was able to see some amazing wildlife, including toucans and other beautiful birds. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and offered a variety of healthy options.

The noise from the bar and music at night was quite bothersome. I was hoping for a peaceful and quiet stay, but the partying and loud conversations from other guests kept me awake.

I absolutely loved my stay at Arenal Waterfall Lodge! As a family of 5, our Villa was perfect for us. The staff were friendly and recommended great tour companies. They even offered their own night nature hike on the property, which was incredible. We saw sloths and experienced the amazing sounds of nature, especially during the rain. The on-site restaurant was fantastic, with delicious rice and chicken. The location was private, yet close to restaurants and shops. The fresh fruit and fruit juice every morning were a treat, and the view from the restaurant was breathtaking with hummingbirds flying around. The property was clean and the staff helpful. it was a spectacular experience for the price!

I do recommend this hotel.

Amazing staff, helpful and patient. Gorgeous villa with great view. Reasonably priced restaurant. Beautiful gardens. Nature sounds and wildlife. Great for families.

There was nothing I didn't like.

We loved staying at this lodge in Arenal. The location allowed us to easily walk to the Falls and hiking trails. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious. The rooms were comfortable with beautiful garden views. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable, although the hot tub took a while to warm up. a perfect stay for those wanting to explore the area on foot.

Surrounded by nature, secluded and comfortable. 8-minute drive to downtown. Well-equipped rooms. Friendly staff, delicious local food. A closer contact with nature.

I couldn't have asked for better value for my money at the Waterfall Lodge. The room was cozy and clean, with a beautiful view of the foliage outside. The location was perfect, right next to the Arenal waterfall and a great starting point for hiking. The staff went above and beyond, staying late to accommodate our late arrival and being friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast experience could have been improved by providing clearer information about what was included and what substitutions were allowed.

The view from the restaurant was breathtaking, with hummingbirds flying all around. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was a short drive to all the restaurants and shops, yet still secluded and surrounded by nature. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even though I didn't speak fluent Spanish.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location high in the hills provided stunning views of the city and the volcanos. The rooms were comfortable with great mattresses, pillows, and A/C. The hotel had private trails for hiking with breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The breakfast options were delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were a nice addition for relaxation. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, parking, transportation, location, breakfast.

The rooms were clean and tidy, just as shown in the photos. I had a pleasant stay at Arenal Waterfall Lodge and would recommend it to others.
