The hostel's location is perfect - close enough to the beaches and town center, yet quiet at night. We rented reliable bikes at a great rate and the room felt like our own apartment, complete with a comfortable bed and a small kitchen. The highlight of our stay was the warm and accommodating hosts, Cecilia and Ruben, who made us feel like family. We also loved the friendly animals around the hostel. Highly recommended!

The room was comfortable and clean, with all the necessary amenities. The location was great, just a short walk from the bustling center and right by the beach. One of the highlights was the friendly and caring staff who went out of their way to assist us.

Our stay was marred by the constant noise from the neighboring rooms. The walls were thin, so we could hear people talking and walking around in the morning, which was quite annoying.

Friendliest staff, coffee each morning, helpful with day-trips and tours, connected with another traveler, quiet and relaxed atmosphere, clean and comfortable room.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hostal Cecilia for 2 weeks and we couldn't have been happier. The location was perfect, just a short walk or bike ride to the beautiful beaches and town center. The room felt like our own personal apartment, with a comfortable bed, private bathroom, and a small kitchen. Cecilia and Ruben were amazing hosts, always making sure we had everything we needed and providing great advice about the city. The bikes they rented were reliable and reasonably priced. We also loved the friendly dogs that added to the welcoming atmosphere.

We had the most amazing stay at this sweet hostel. William and Cecilia, our hosts, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. From offering advice on what to do in the area to providing us with everything we needed, they truly made us feel at home. Cecilia, in particular, was a sweetheart who even made coffee for everyone in the morning and let us use bikes for free. We were also pleasantly surprised when they offered us a nicer room when it became available. the location of the hostel was great - just a short walk to everything we needed and close to both beaches. Highly recommend staying at this lovely place!

We had an incredible stay at this hostel! the team at Hostal Cecilia, especially Cecilia and her son William, made us feel like part of their family. They were welcoming, friendly, and always went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. the room was well-equipped and comfortable, and Cecilia's delicious coffee in the mornings was the perfect way to start our day. the bikes were also available at a great price and in excellent condition, making it easy for us to explore the local area. this was the most welcoming and helpful hostel we have ever stayed in, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I stayed at Hostal Cecilia for a week and it was perfect! The staff was incredibly kind, and Cecila even made me a soothing tea when I wasn't feeling well. The bungalow I stayed in was stunning, right by the beach with a private terrace and hammocks. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and well-equipped with a kitchen. The shower had great water pressure and the mosquito nets were a lifesaver. The owner was amazing and the surroundings were filled with wildlife. The WiFi was reliable, making it great for remote work. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

Bright room, quiet location near Cocles beach. Free coffee and well-equipped kitchen facilities. Spacious apartment-like setup with friendly and helpful hosts. Convenient access to town and nearby attractions.

the atmosphere there was absolutely awesome and the staff were incredibly friendly, making me feel like part of the family. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful window view of nature. I also appreciated the helpfulness of the owner, Cecilla, who was always available to answer questions and provide assistance. the daily cleaning service and reliable WiFi were great features too. Plus, the location was perfect, right across from the popular Rocking Js hostel and within walking distance of the beach.

We had a great value for our money at Hostal Cecilia. The room was comfortable and we slept well. The location was perfect, not too noisy at night but still a short walk to downtown. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially William who was super helpful. The shared kitchen and bathroom were basic but cleaned every morning. We loved the fact that the hostel provided drinking water and had bikes available for rent.
