The location of this hostel was very convenient, with easy access to restaurants and other amenities. the free shuttle to the nearby hot springs was a nice perk, and the included breakfast was convenient and offered some authentic local food.

The room had a strong musky smell and attempts to cover it up with chemicals only made it worse. the bathroom layout was cramped and uncomfortable for two people, and there was some mold present.

The dorm beds were comfortable and I loved that they had sockets even on the top bunk. the spacious kitchen with a water refilling station was super convenient for cooking meals. the staff were friendly and spoke good English. the location was great, easy to find and close to all the attractions. Plus, the free breakfast provided was delicious and filling.

The lack of airflow in the dorm room was a major downside. It got really hot and there was no electric fan available.

We had an amazing time staying at this hotel! The location is perfect, close to all the activities and attractions in the area. The little garden area with hammocks was so relaxing and peaceful. The staff were warm and helpful, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to our day. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. We especially loved the view from our room, it was breathtaking! We highly recommend this hotel for a fantastic stay in this beautiful area.

The limited number of toilets and showers in the dorms, which caused some waiting time.

The hotel offered a delicious and varied buffet style breakfast every morning, including options like eggs, gallo pinto, coffee, juice. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, even providing assistance at 2am. The air conditioning in the rooms worked perfectly, allowing for a comfortable sleep in the humid weather. Additionally, the hotel had great transportation options, including a convenient and affordable shuttle service, making it easy to explore the city.

One of the reception staff members was reported to be rude, which is unfortunate for the overall experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. La Choza Inn provided excellent facilities, with clean and well-equipped private rooms. the communal kitchen was a great feature, and the breakfast provided in the morning was really good. the staff, from the cleaning staff to the kitchen staff, were brilliant and made us feel welcome. the atmosphere was lively, mainly with younger travelers, and there were no noise issues after 10pm. the unlimited shuttle service offered was incredibly convenient.
