We stayed at a beachfront hostel with a great location. The property was right on Playa Cocles, a beautiful beach, and it was also close to the center of town. We loved being able to walk to everything we needed.

The dorm rooms were not very good. The smell of unwashed clothes lingered in the humid heat, and the mattresses were uncomfortable.

The beach vibe and free yoga sessions made for a truly relaxing experience. We also enjoyed meeting and connecting with other travelers who were staying there. Additionally, the hostel's location right on the beach was a definite highlight. The little cabanas provided the perfect spot to chill, eat, and read. The friendly and helpful reception staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Lastly, being able to rent bikes to explore the town was a convenient bonus.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the kitchen was in a complete mess.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location stole the show, being right on the beach next to the Playa Cocles surf spot. It was the perfect spot for beach lovers like me. The beach itself was stunning, with only a few people around, so it felt like my own private paradise. The cleanliness of this hotel was impressive, everything was well-maintained and spotless. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the restaurant area which served delicious food. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay.

I had a wonderful experience at Playa 506 Beachfront. As a solo traveler, I was initially concerned about staying in a hostel, but this place exceeded my expectations. the private room I stayed in was perfect, complete with refreshing air conditioning. the beachfront location was amazing, allowing me to enjoy beautiful views and easy access to the beach. the outdoor seating area with hammocks and deck chairs was a nice touch, and the shared bathrooms were clean and spacious. the staff were friendly and helpful, even during the strike and blockades. the breakfast provided was satisfying, with a variety of options available. I highly recommend this hostel to fellow solo travelers who prefer a relaxed atmosphere.

Despite a few issues, I had a decent holiday break. the free breakfast spread and occasional parties were enjoyable, while the beach was easily accessible. the staff was welcoming and friendly.

loved our stay in puerto viejo de talamanca and playas 506 beachfront exceeded our expectations! the christmas party was a blast and the beach huts and hammocks made for a perfect beachfront experience. highly recommend this place!
