My stay at Hotel El Velero was a little slice of paradise. The location, right on the beach, was incredible. I loved waking up to the sound of the waves and being just steps away from the beautiful black sand beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, providing great suggestions for activities and tours. The on-site restaurant offered a variety of delicious food, especially the fresh seafood. I enjoyed the live music and BBQ nights, which added to the enjoyable atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for a beachfront getaway.

We chose Hotel El Velero to end our vacation near a beautiful beach with stunning sunsets. The beachfront property is conveniently located near restaurants and bars. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with arranging an early morning taxi to the airport. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The hotel is only 25 minutes away from Liberia airport and the prices are reasonable. We felt right at home and would definitely go back again.

This hotel is in a perfect location, right on the beach. We loved being able to step out onto the beautiful Playa Hermosa directly from the hotel. It was all superb.

The room at Hotel El Velero was super cozy with a nice seating area. The air conditioning was a treat, and the private bath was a plus. Plus, having cable TV for some chill time was awesome.

Personally, I could do with a bit more lighting in the room.

The rooms had beautiful exposed wood and large windows. The bed was a California king and very comfortable. The staff were helpful and attentive. The beach in front of the hotel was peaceful and uncrowded. The terrace on the second floor had a great view of palm trees, the beach, and the sea.

We had a great time staying at this place. It has a perfect location right on the waterfront, which made it easy to enjoy the beach and have quick access to the swimming pool. The staff went above and beyond, providing excellent room service, and even giving us a welcome drink when we arrived. We also loved that they had tours/ticket assistance available, and happy hour with discounted drinks. The air conditioning worked great, which was a great perk after a day in the sun. We also appreciated the various amenities like the flat-screen tv and garden furniture.
