Our stay at Hotel La Punta was a great value for our money. The room was small but functional, and the cleanliness of the place was impressive. The hotel's location at the very point of the city allowed us to easily access the ferry, restaurants, and tour-boats. The staff were excellent, accommodating, and spoke English, which was a big plus for us. it was a pleasant and secure place to stay, with a refreshing swimming pool and beautiful sunsets.

Menu for breakfast could be improved with more variety.

the hotel exceeded my expectations. the room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a hot shower with great water pressure. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even carrying our luggage for us. the pool area was lovely, although we didn't have a chance to use it. the hotel is conveniently located near the ferry and there are great dining options nearby. it was a cute, clean, and safe hotel that I would highly recommend.

Perfect staying for some chilled time before taking the ferry to the Nicoya peninsula. Superb location, super close to the harbor. Amazing service, a clean and comfortable room, perfect for a single/few days staying. The swimming pool would have been icing on the cake if we would have stayed a little longer.

Although there were some logging nearby, the debris from it made the ocean somewhat of an obstacle course. If the waves had been larger, the debris would have been dangerous rather than simply unsightly and annoying.
