We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in beautiful gardens that provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, with a lovely view of the surroundings. We especially enjoyed the delicious afternoon tea and evening meal that were served here.

Although we found the storage space in our room to be limited, it didn't detract from our overall experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in a beautiful area in the countryside.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel located near the Wedgwood museum and shop. The picturesque parkland surrounding the hotel was truly stunning. We loved sitting in the garden during the summer evenings, sipping on a refreshing drink. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and we were even served fresh café lattes.

The food served in the restaurant could use some improvement in terms of quality and variety.

I recently stayed at The Upper House for a weekend getaway. The location is stunning, with beautiful views and easy access to a charming pub, The Plume Of Feathers. The hotel building itself has some interesting architectural features, and the staff, from the friendly receptionist Jessica to the cheerful chamber maid, were all lovely. The newly refurbished rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a refreshing balcony. The restaurant served delicious and reasonably priced food, and the communal living room with a fireplace added a cozy touch. a wonderful stay with helpful staff and great amenities.

I recently stayed at The Upper House for a couple of nights and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel welcome right from the start. The room was clean and comfortable, equipped with tea and coffee facilities and fresh water. The bathroom and showers were modern and in great working order. I also enjoyed spending time in the excellent lounge area, perfect for relaxing and chatting. The hotel offers plenty of free parking and even has a lift, which is a bonus considering it is a converted and extended house from the Wedgewood family era. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this lovely hotel in its idyllic location.

During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the beautiful setting of the hotel and the spacious and comfortable rooms with amazing views. the hotel's history added to the charm and the well-maintained gardens were a pleasure to wander around. the food at the hotel was delicious and the staff in the bar and restaurant were attentive, providing excellent service.

There were some aspects that could have been improved. the attention to detail was lacking, with dirty mirrors and splashed liquid on the skirting boards.

We had a lovely stay at Upper House. the location and grounds were beautiful, with plenty of information about walks and the house's history. the original part of the house itself was stunning, and our superior room was lovely. the bed was comfy, the bathroom was excellent, and the balcony would be perfect in the summer. We also enjoyed the abundance of wildlife and the beautiful gardens. Everything was very clean, and the staff was welcoming from the moment we arrived. the food at breakfast and dinner was excellent, and the view from our table was breathtaking. Situated in the countryside, Upper House is a great choice for a relaxing getaway.

Although the wedding and reception on Saturday took place, they didn't interfere with our plans or cause any significant disruption or disturbance. The village nearby had an intriguing "open gardens" event, and the classic cars on the village green were a delight.

The location was great, close to many pottery studios and museums. the view from the room was stunning and the grounds were really nice to explore. the comfortable bed and modern shower room were good too. the dinner we had was exquisite and there was plenty of parking outside.

The breakfast was quite limited, with only a few fruit and cereal options available. the receptionist was not very helpful when it came to recommending dining options nearby, leaving us to explore on our own.
