Our stay at Hotel La Punta was a great value for our money. The room was small but functional, and the cleanliness of the place was impressive. The hotel's location at the very point of the city allowed us to easily access the ferry, restaurants, and tour-boats. The staff were excellent, accommodating, and spoke English, which was a big plus for us. it was a pleasant and secure place to stay, with a refreshing swimming pool and beautiful sunsets.

Menu for breakfast could be improved with more variety.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Puntarenas called La Punta and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a powerful A/C and hot water in the shower. The hotel had a nice pool area and the staff were polite and helpful. The location was great, with the ferry nearby for exploring Paquera or Playa Naranjo. There were also plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. I had a great stay at La Punta and would highly recommend it.

Perfect staying for some chilled time before taking the ferry to the Nicoya peninsula. Superb location, super close to the harbor. Amazing service, a clean and comfortable room, perfect for a single/few days staying. The swimming pool would have been icing on the cake if we would have stayed a little longer.

Although there were some logging nearby, the debris from it made the ocean somewhat of an obstacle course. If the waves had been larger, the debris would have been dangerous rather than simply unsightly and annoying.

It's conveniently located near the ferry, the promenade, and several great restaurants. The highlight for me was the breathtaking sunsets. Additionally, they offer convenient amenities such as coffee, air conditioning, and tours. I highly recommend requesting a room by the pool, particularly rooms 9 and 11, for an even better experience.

Despite a few setbacks, my New Year's stay at the hotel was pleasant. The location was the best part, with the beach just a short walk away and plenty of local restaurants nearby. The fact that the beach had calm waters was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, the clean and comfortable rooms, complete with good air conditioning and comfortable beds, made for a decent stay.

There were a few aspects that left something to be desired. the room itself was quite plain and lacked some basic amenities.

I gotta say, for the price we paid, Hotel La Punta definitely delivered. The room was simple but spacious, with a balcony and all the amenities we needed. The staff went above and beyond to help us with ferry schedules and even tried their best to find us a tour to Isla Tortuga. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the ferry and plenty of great restaurants nearby.

The breakfast menu could use a little improvement, but overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I had a great stay at a hotel in Punta Arenas. The location was perfect, close to the ferry dock and the lighthouse. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, even going so far as to carry our luggage up the stairs. The hotel also had off-street parking, which was a nice bonus. The room was cute, clean, and comfortable, and the AC worked well. The pool was a great place to relax in the evening. I would highly recommend this hotel for a one-night stay in Punta Arenas.

The only minor drawback was that the bar/restaurant next door was a bit noisy, but they did close early.
