Fabulous tropical garden with abundant wildlife sightings.

My experience was marred by a lack of hot water during my stay, which made showering quite uncomfortable at times. Additionally, I found that the cleanliness of my room left something to be desired, with dust accumulating in some corners. The absence of a pool was also a letdown, especially given the heat. a refreshing swim would have been highly appreciated.

oh, where do I even start? I booked a double bed, but got two singles—a real letdown. And just a thin sheet with an ancient, sad excuse for a pillow. I almost thought about leaving a good review, but the lack of any complimentary amenities truly ruined it. For the price, I expected at least some hot water!

Hotel Marielos was a delightful surprise. The room was clean and cozy, with reliable A/C and hot water. I loved watching howler monkeys from my shower window! The location was perfect, only a quick walk to the beach and close to various restaurants and shops.

Had a sweet as weekend—loved the comfy room and friendly staff! But, the noise from the disco next door was a real bummer, eh? Couldn’t get a decent sleep.

the location is super nice, right across from the beach and close to a store for supplies. loved seeing the howler monkeys and birds hangin out around the hotel, gives it a real tropical vibe. the staff is friendly and super helpful, made me feel welcome. rooms have a/c which is a must in that heat. Clean and comfy enough for a budget deal. such a chill spot to just relax and enjoy some downtime!

but the room could use some updates, felt kinda worn out and a bit musty. also, the kitchen was missing some basic utensils — could've made cooking easier.

Clean and quiet grounds, perfect for relaxation. Just across the street from the beach, so easy to pop back after a swim. Loved spotting howler monkeys from my window! The staff definitely added to the experience!

I spent 14 nights here and loved the clean, comfy room with A/C and hot water—just what I needed after a hot day. The garden area was a nice chill spot and I even enjoyed watching howler monkeys during my shower! It would’ve been great to have more kitchen utensils, but overall, this place is a perfect little getaway for the budget traveler. 🌴

excellent location right across from the public beach, close to a supermarket and Iguana surf shop. the garden area was a peaceful spot to unwind, and the kitchen was fully equipped for those who love to cook.

the hotel is ideally situated just a street away from the beach and next to a supermarket, making it so convenient! loved the lovely garden areas and the charming atmosphere throughout.
