The value for money at Villas Vista Arenal was excellent - clean, quiet and comfortable rooms, with a lovely pool to relax in after a day of exploring. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center, and the owner and staff were attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast option could be improved by offering a quieter dining area, away from the busy street.

We had a great view of the Arenal Volcano from our spacious cottage at Hotel Villas Vista Arenal. The surrounding greenery made it feel like a peaceful retreat. Despite some minor issues, the value for money was excellent.

The hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways! the value for money was fantastic, especially considering the great location next to a field that provided us with an unobstructed view of the volcano. Secondly, the staff was incredibly attentive to detail, making sure our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Additionally, the basic amenities in our room, including the AC and a little veranda with a fridge, were greatly appreciated. Lastly, having breakfast included in our stay was a wonderful bonus!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location and view of Arenal were absolutely brilliant. We loved being able to walk into town and explore the nearby attractions. The staff were great and the breakfast, although okay, provided us with enough options to start our day. The room, although basic, had everything we needed including a TV and fridge. The AC kept us cool and comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. The highlight was definitely the spacious bathroom with a huge bathtub that looked like a jacuzzi. The pool and gardens were beautiful, and we loved seeing cows next to the pool. a great experience as backpackers!

Felt fine, no complaint.

During Easter, we stayed in a cabin that offered a delightful view of the surrounding nature. the location was perfect, as it was a short walk from all the popular tourist attractions, and we could easily find taxis. We enjoyed the complementary breakfast that was delicious and filling.

The bathroom was not up to our expectations either, as the shower did not work well and the towels did not seem clean.

The location of this hotel was perfect for us, as we didn't have a car. It was just a short walk to town, where we could find restaurants and shops. We even managed to hike to the nearby waterfall from the hotel. Another great aspect was the friendly and helpful staff. the breakfast provided was a nice touch, with a variety of food options to choose from.

The rooms were quite basic and felt slightly unkempt. Some of the rooms had unpleasant smells, like cigarette smoke or puke, which was not a pleasant experience.

Absolutely nothing.

The view of the volcano and lake from the front deck was absolutely breathtaking. It was the perfect backdrop for our Christmas vacation. Additionally, the location of the hotel was ideal, with hiking trails right outside our room and a supermarket and restaurants nearby. We loved the convenience of having everything within walking distance.
