The location was perfect, just a short walk to the train station and funicular. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering free parking and transportation tickets. The room was nice and had fresh towels and a good shower. The receptionist didn't speak English or German but still went out of their way to assist us. Our one-night stay was super awesome!

We stayed at Hotel Besso for just one night during an emergency situation, looking for an affordable place to sleep. The location of the hotel was perfect, not far from the lake and close to Lugano train station. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, despite some language barriers. The hotel itself was well-constructed and clean, making us feel at home. Additionally, the convenience of bus stops right outside the hotel made it easy for us to explore the city and even take a day trip to Milan.

We stayed at Hotel Besso for a night during an emergency and it was perfect for our needs. The room was a nice size and had much-needed air conditioning, which was a relief in the hot weather. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. In addition, the hotel's proximity to Lugano's main train station, a 5-7 minutes' walk away, made it extremely convenient. To top it off, there was a delicious Thai restaurant right next to the hotel, providing us with tasty take-out options.

Great location, close to the main train station and within walking distance to the city center. Helpful reception staff, despite some language barriers they were always willing to assist.- The room had all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay, making our Easter getaway enjoyable.

Noise from the road outside was quite noticeable, affecting our sleep quality at times. Poor sound insulation between rooms, allowing us to hear conversations from neighboring rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at Besso Lugano Center. the location was fantastic, just a few minutes' walk from the train station and close to supermarkets and a pharmacy. the staff were friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile to refrigerate some medicines for our family member and provide us with a water cooker. the AC worked well, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. the Ticino passes were a great bonus, allowing us to easily explore the region. it was excellent value for money.

During my recent stay, I had the pleasure of experiencing the great location of Besso Lugano Center. Being just a short walk from the train station made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city.

Although there were a few drawbacks mentioned in the reviews, such as the lack of a shower curtain or noise from the road outside, I didn't personally experience these issues.
