mar de luz was an incredible hotel, exceeding our expectations during our extended stay. the staff, including the owner victor, were friendly and helpful. the pools, breakfast options, and peaceful atmosphere made our time there unforgettable.

My stay at Mar De Luz was fantastic. The hotel is located off the main strip and I felt secure during my entire stay. The breakfasts were the highlight of the property, absolutely delicious. The location was perfect, with the beach within walking distance and everything on the strip easily accessible. Parking on the street was not an issue as there was hardly any traffic. Additionally, the town offered a wide variety of eateries, ensuring there was always something for everyone.

The room-studio was spacious and had all the amenities I needed, including a microwave and mini fridge. The location was perfect, with a quiet street and easy access to the beach. The breakfast at the hotel was fast and delicious, and the restaurant staff were exceptional. I even had the opportunity to feed fruits to the big iguanas in the courtyard, which was entertaining. The pool area was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a great value for money considering its location near the beach and downtown. The rooms are well-maintained with nice balcony tables to enjoy the garden view. Plus, the made-to-order breakfast with fresh fruits is included in the price.

This is such an amazing little jewel of a hotel! My family and I stayed at Mar De Luz for 9 days during our stay in Costa Rica. The hotel had two refreshing pools, including a kid pool that my little ones loved. The staff, especially Victor, were friendly and helpful.
