The lodge is beautifully renovated and has a lovely atmosphere. The lack of AC made my room quite uncomfortable at times. They have a kids' club and playground, perfect for families.

Check-in was smooth and the staff were welcoming.

Additionally, the restaurant's dinner menu lacked variety, so we had to leave the premises for local cuisine. While the overall experience was decent, these aspects did put a damper on our visit.

Chommies at reception were super helpful and greeted us with chilled lemonade. The gardens? Absolutely beautiful, full of flowers and local birds! And the brekkie buffet? Lekker! Got loads of tasty fruits.

But geez, the noise was a bit much at night—could hear everything, so pack those earplugs!

Room was spacious, but parking was tricky and no luggage assistance available. Free Wi-Fi was helpful.

had a great time at monteverde country lodge! the gardens are super pretty with lots of wildlife, and we enjoyed fresh coffee in our room. breakfast was tasty with tons of options like eggs and local dishes. staff were really helpful with local tour tips, and the location is close to town but still quiet. loved having our own little balcony too!

but the walls are thin so can hear neighbors and breakfast was kinda hit or miss one day. also, the bed was a bit hard for my taste.

the lodge was a great spot for exploring, with the Serpentario de Monteverde just a few minutes' walk away and the San Luis Waterfall only a short stroll from our room, which made our weekend so much more enjoyable.
