The rooms, although not large, were incredibly comfortable, and the beautiful grounds added to the overall experience. The location was also perfect, tucked away on a quiet side road, yet still within walking distance to restaurants and a convenience store. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even helping us fix a scheduling error. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

One small suggestion to make the breakfast selection even better would be to have more options for the traditional breakfast. It would be great to see a variety of bread, jam, honey, and types of butter available.

I stayed at the Country Lodge in Monteverde for one night and it exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and the check-in process was easy. The room was comfortable and had a huge bed. The shower had the hottest water I've experienced in Costa Rica. I loved that the hotel was eco-conscious and asked guests to separate their biodegradable and non-biodegradable items. The on-site restaurant/bar was a great convenience and they even had a happy hour with 2-for-1 drinks. Parking was also good.

I had an overall OK experience at the Monteverde Country Lodge - Costa Rica. The check-in experience was very good, thanks to the assistance of Daniel. He really made sure we made the most of our limited time there. The check-out process was also seamless, thanks to his excellent customer service.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. Our room was conveniently located next to the swimming pool, which was perfect for our 3, year, old. the hotel offered a lot of adventurous activities to enjoy throughout the day. Additionally, the hotel's location was great as it was only a 20, minute drive from the closest town where we could find everything we needed.

The check, out experience was not great. the staff at the front desk seemed unprofessional and lacked good communication skills.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is close to the downtown area. It is situated down a fairly steep hill, which gives it a tranquil and peaceful feel. It is close to the center of Monteverde but away from the crowds, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are comfortable and homelike, providing a high-end cottage in the country atmosphere. The staff is beyond amazing, always smiling and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfasts are well put together, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.

Couldn't stay longer.

The attention to detail was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was close enough to the main attractions, allowing me to easily explore the area. The rooms were clean and had a nice little table and chairs right outside the door, perfect for sitting around and enjoying the sun.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in several ways. the value for money was excellent. With reasonable prices, I got more than I bargained for. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. From the well-maintained rooms with three beds, including two separate bedrooms on the second floor with a comfortable king-size bed, to the delicious breakfast that included a really good hot chocolate, everything was thoughtfully arranged. Lastly, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was fairly close to the Monteverde park, so close to all the main attractions, and also close to the center of Monteverde but away from the crowds.
