The location is simply spectacular, with breathtaking ocean views and the convenience of being next to a nature preserve. I loved the relaxed vibe of the hotel and the friendly staff. The rooms were massive, with comfy beds and a nice view of the ocean. The well-kept property and beautiful pool and grounds added to the overall charm. Plus, I was delighted to find an excellent in-room coffee setup with a Britta filter.

Enjoyed walking through the narrow 8' wide channel to reach the local reefs. It was like being in a tropical paradise surrounded by breathtaking whitewater views of the Pacific Ocean.

Such a shame that the bar next door was so loud, just what I wanted for a relaxing beach getaway. *eyeroll*

The attached restaurant served delicious food, especially the seafood soup. The staff was exceptional, accommodating, and swift with check-in and check-out. it was a convenient and satisfying stay for our family.

They surprised us with birthday decorations for my son, making his day extra special. Daily housekeeping ensured our room was always clean and well-stocked. The staff treated us like family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We had a fantastic time at the Backyard Beachfront Hotel. Our stay was for a week-long family vacation. The hotel's location was ideal, right on a beautiful, almost private beach. The kids loved the pool right next to our room, where they spent hours splashing and having fun. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and equipped with great AC. We enjoyed delicious food and live music at the attached bar, and even got to watch surf competitions in the evenings. The sunset views from our balcony were stunning, and we loved being able to walk out to the beach whenever we wanted. a perfect choice for a beachfront getaway.

We stayed at Backyard Beachfront for an overnight between destinations. The killer location right on the beach was convenient for our family with 2 young children. The spacious room had great AC, was very clean, and had a helpful and friendly staff. The attached restaurant had decent food, and having the pool to ourselves was a bonus. Swift checkout and check-in made our stay hassle-free.

My recent stay at a beachfront hotel in Jaco was incredible. The location was perfect, right on the beach, and the pool just steps away from my room. The facilities were top-notch, with a clean and spacious room that had a beautiful wraparound balcony. The staff was excellent, always there to assist when needed, and the nighttime guard went above and beyond to help me in a difficult situation. The hotel also had a restaurant attached, serving delicious food with a stunning view of the ocean. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent facilities, great staff, and amazing beachfront location.

We got great value for our money at the Backyard Beachfront Hotel. The room was amazing, with high ceilings and a large wraparound balcony. The location was perfect, right on the beach and away from the noise of the nearby nightclub. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better at this hotel were more choices. It became a bit monotonous with only Gallo pinto, eggs, and coffee or juice included.

The hotel is right on the beach, with easy access to it. The staff was exceptional, very accommodating and kind. The facility was great, with a lovely pool and comfortable outdoor furniture. The location was fantastic, close to the beach and at a good price.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The shower had great water pressure, was clean, and had plenty of space. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We appreciated the good lighting and easily accessible electric plugs in the room. The room key worked perfectly every time. Additionally, there was almost no wait for the elevators, which was a pleasant surprise. We also liked the temperature controls and room darkening shades. The valet service provided by Captain Greg was exceptional, as he was very nice and extremely helpful. The hotel's location was perfect as it was within walking distance to everything we wanted to experience. We had a great view and parking was conveniently close by.
