We absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem! The old-world charm of the villa and rooms created a delightful ambiance. The minimal but effective decoration added to the overall appeal. The bar/restaurant, particularly Thomas, was a delight. The mojitos were amazing and the Latin music created a fantastic atmosphere. The property itself was stunning, with beautiful grounds, lush landscaping, and breathtaking views of the mountains. The beds and pillows were unbelievably comfortable. Special mention to the staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, including arranging an early breakfast before our airport shuttle. The food was outstanding, serving the best local dishes we've had throughout our trip. The price was a bargain for the quality and experience we received.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the hills around San Jose. The cleanliness was impeccable, with spotless rooms and a superb shower with great water pressure and temperature. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with beautiful communal areas, a clean and spacious pool surrounded by trees and plants, and extensive gardens attracting various types of birds, including loads of hummingbirds. The staff was amazing, always upbeat and happy to assist with anything, from room changes to early breakfast. The location was also a big plus, as it was relatively near the San Jose airport and the hotel was able to arrange transportation for me.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Alajuela. We were there for a few nights to relax after a long flight. The rooms were beautiful with a unique architecture and a stunning view of the garden. The bathroom was spacious and well stocked. The restaurant was delicious and offered generous portions. The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location was great for exploring the nearby Poas Volcano and La Paz Waterfalls. We will definitely be returning!

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

The hotel had a charming and rustic vibe, with comfortable rooms and a good shower. The gardens were beautiful, full of wildlife and gorgeous plants and flowers. I also appreciated the drinking water provided in the room upon arrival.

The breakfast portions were too small, especially the servings of tropical fruit. I expected more variety and larger portion sizes.

We got incredible value for our money at Villa San Ignacio. The room was comfortable and the bed and pillows were super comfy. The location was convenient for the airport and the staff treated us like royalty.

The driver was friendly and everything was reasonably priced. The hotel itself was clean, with great facilities including a gorgeous pool and comfortable rooms. The location, near the airport and right by a highway, was convenient for me and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family who are also traveling to the area soon. Additionally, the breakfast provided was delicious and the hotel staff were pleasant and accommodating.
