Stayed at Villa Mukinja for 3 nights during our trip to Plitvice Lakes. The hotel felt like a home away from home with its lovely and warm ambiance. The Croatian-style dinner was abundant and delicious, while the breakfast was excellent too. The jacuzzi was a big bonus, especially when enjoyed for a 20-minute spa session in the morning. Helena, the property manager, was extremely helpful, guiding us to the lakes, giving trail advice. Highly recommended.

The breakfast and dinner were delicious and plentiful. The hosts, Valdo and Helena, were extremely hospitable and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was scenic and close to the park entrance.

The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and provided us with a map and recommendations for visiting the nearby Plitvice Lakes. They even suggested a trail route to the 2nd entrance, which turned out to be much safer and more scenic than the main road. the location of the hotel was also ideal, just a short 10-15 minute walk to the entrance. Additionally, the young chef at the hotel cooked delicious meals, and we were even able to get her recipe for a vegetable bake that we loved.

There were a few negative aspects of our stay. the curtains in our room were too thin and couldn't block out the early morning sunlight.

The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the national park, as it is within walking distance of the entry to the lakes. The hotel is situated in a rural area, providing a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The rooms are clean and cozy, offering a comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing maps and explanations to ensure a great visit to the park.

There could be improvements in providing more information about the included meals and their prices, as some guests were surprised by the additional costs.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Mukinja for 2 nights. The owner's hospitality was outstanding, and the rooms were comfortable, quiet, and fantastic. The homemade dinner and breakfast were delicious, and every detail, including the homemade bread and jam, was thoughtfully prepared. The owner was incredibly helpful in providing directions and resources for our hiking adventure. We left impressed and satisfied with our experience.

Spent Xmas holidays here and it was a great experience! the rooms were comfy and cleaned daily with fresh linens and towels. the location was convenient, with many attractions just a short walk away. the staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and gave great tips on where to go and what to see. Best of all, the Christmas dinner was absolutely amazing!

The breakfast was a bit underwhelming, with limited options and bland coffee. the heating in the rooms could have been better, as it was chilly during the evenings.

The family room was cozy with comfortable beds, kind and helpful host, sauna with amazing view, great location in the heart of Plitvice Park, large public car parking.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel for our honeymoon. We had only one day to visit the nearby national park, and the location of the hotel was perfect for that. The rooms were clean, the food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. The owner was especially helpful in providing recommendations for our visit to the park.
