Villa Stone was definitely worth the money with its beautiful and fancy rooms, complete with a great bathroom. The quiet surroundings and the friendly and welcoming staff, particularly Martin, made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park, and there were some fantastic restaurants nearby.

For breakfast, it would be better if it started earlier, like 6:30 am or 7 am, since most guests want to visit the lakes before they get crowded in the morning.

The hotel is ideally located in the mountains, making it very close to the entrance of Plitvice Park. There are also restaurants and a supermarket nearby, providing convenience for guests. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. The location in the rolling fields was breathtaking and provided a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The service provided by the housekeeping staff was exceptional, ensuring that everything was spotless and well-maintained. The hotel even offered a grocery shopping service, making it easy for us to stock up on snacks and drinks. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink upon arrival, which was a lovely touch. The staff were also incredibly helpful in assisting us with tours and tickets for local attractions. The room amenities were top-notch, including heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a well-stocked mini-bar. We particularly enjoyed the balcony and sitting area, as well as the terrace which provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The in-room safe was an added convenience, giving us peace of mind. the level of comfort and quality of service at this hotel exceeded our expectations.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was definitely one of the best decisions I've made. the room was spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed for a cozy holiday stay. the location was also perfect, just a short drive from a beautiful national park and plenty of picturesque walking trails. One of my favourite aspects, however, was the friendly and welcoming staff, who went out of their way to make my stay truly memorable.

The breakfast buffet left something to be desired, with average options and not-so-great coffee. But, considering the many other positives, it was a small price to pay for a truly wonderful holiday experience.
