During my recent stay at Villa Amalie, I was pleasantly surprised by the softness of the bed. It was a rare find on the island and provided me with the most restful sleep I've had in months. Although the king-size bed consisted of two mattresses put together, they did tend to slip apart. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall comfort of the bed. One small annoyance was having to use the RFID token "key" to exit the staircase onto the terrace, as we were only provided with one. It would be helpful if there was a switch on the inside to allow for easy exit at all times, including in case of emergencies.

Villa Amalie is a charming colonial house, tastefully furnished with comfortable beds. The warm welcome and excellent customer service from Danny made our stay enjoyable. We appreciated the provision of fresh towels and bathrobes, as well as the access to Wifi. The location near the center of Pietermaii was convenient.
