We had a fantastic stay at Mindo Lago Hotel Destino! The breakfasts were delicious and satisfying, and the staff was incredibly helpful with taxi arrangements. We loved the unique experience of dining on a raft in the lagoon and enjoying the frog concert. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting on our balcony and listening to the frogs in the evening. The owners, Bernardo and Carman, were friendly and accommodating. It truly felt like a getaway in a beautiful movie set.

I had an amazing time at the hotel! The location was just perfect, nestled in the beautiful cloud forest. The lush green surroundings were absolutely stunning. The highlight for me was the small lagoon with the floating raft. The friendly staff served breakfast and dinner on the raft while I enjoyed the peacefulness of the lagoon and listened to the frogs. It felt like being in a movie set. The owners, Bernardo and Carman, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Carman spoke great English and made me feel right at home. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, with good quality towels and plenty of hot water. I especially loved the second-floor balcony with a park-like bench, perfect for relaxing and listening to the soothing sounds of the frogs after a day of adventures. it was a perfect stay!

The breakfast options were limited, but the food was tasty and filling. the staff members were helpful and assisted us in arranging transportation when needed. the photos of the hotel on the website accurately represented the beautiful surroundings. the atmosphere was peaceful and serene, allowing for a relaxing holiday experience.

The room had a strong musty and moldy smell, which made it difficult to stay comfortably. the lack of climate control worsened the situation, especially during the rainy period when it was both cool and humid.

The clean rooms with ample hot water, balcony, and park-like bench provided the perfect spot to relax and listen to the frogs. The owners and personnel were exceptionally kind and helpful, ensuring a fantastic stay. Communication was excellent, and the nearby attractions, including a frog concert, added to the paradise-like atmosphere.

We had a great time at Lago Hotel Destino in Mindo. the cabins were cute and cozy, with big picture windows in the bathroom that allowed us to feel close to nature. the comfortable bed and clean bedding ensured a good night's sleep. We especially enjoyed the tiny lake, where we could relax on a raft with a glass of wine. the trails behind the hotel were beautiful, perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. the owner made us feel right at home and the peaceful atmosphere was like a paradise. the voices of birds and frogs created a soothing harmony, especially at night. it was a wonderful experience in this little haven.
