The location of the hotel was spot on - right across from the Egyptian museum! The staff at reception were super helpful, shoutout to Farida and Mustafa, and their welcoming chocolates were a nice touch, very unexpected. The room was spacious and clean, and the comfy bed was a real plus. I got a room on the smoking floor which was a bit smelly, but overall, nothing major. 🏨

During my transit in Cairo, I found the convenience of the Steigenberger Hotel El Tahrir to be exceptional. Its location, just 5 minutes' walk from Sadat, made it a great choice for quick access to public transportation. being only 9 km from El Giza, it was an easy commute to visit the famous pyramids and other attractions.

While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, I found the hotel's tour arrangements to be overpriced. It would have been more cost-effective to explore attractions such as the pyramids and the citadel independently, utilizing services like Uber for transportation.
