This hotel is great, very close to the city center and the port to take the ferries to Helsinki. It is convenient to my business contacts, shopping, old town, and restaurants and bars. The location is very strategic as it's an easy walk from the old town and also near to the port complex.

All in all, everything was more than okay.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, helpful reception staff, daily room cleaning, excellent location for town and port access.

It is also in close proximity to the harbour, making it a convenient choice for those arriving or departing by ferry. it is within easy walking distance to most of the popular sightseeing attractions of the city. For those traveling by car, there is ample parking available. The hotel is also conveniently located near a cinema and shopping hall, providing entertainment and shopping options for guests.

The breakfast options were a bit limited for the price.

During my Christmas stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and welcoming staff at the hotel. They made me feel right at home and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The location of the hotel was also a major plus. It was conveniently located near the city center, making it easy for me to explore and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Additionally, the clean and comfortable rooms made my stay even more enjoyable. The beds were cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of holiday activities.

There were a few aspects of my stay that could have been improved. The noise from the surrounding bars and ongoing construction work was quite noticeable, which made it a bit difficult to relax and unwind.

Our stay in this hotel was amazing! The location was perfect as everything was within walking distance - from a Rimi supermarket to the central area. The room was spacious and clean along with a beautiful bathroom. The service was excellent. The buffet breakfast was good and had all the necessary items. Also, the artistic lobby was charming and inviting.

The Wi-Fi in some of the rooms was not strong enough.

Excellent location for exploring the city. The staff were extremely helpful when my pre-booked parking spot was unavailable, and quickly found me an alternative spot. I had a comfortable stay and would recommend Metropol.

Felt like family, no complaint.

During Easter, we stayed at a hotel in a prime location which was within walking distance to all the attractions we wanted to visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. We also appreciated the complementary chocolates in the room and the Easter decorations in the lobby, which added a festive touch to our stay.

There were some negative aspects to our stay. The room felt outdated, with old furnishings and decor.
