The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel's convenient location near the motorway and its proximity to the Channel Tunnel made it an ideal choice.

Convenient location, just under an hour from the tunnel crossing, perfect for a stopover when traveling between the UK and France. The staff at check-in were friendly and helpful, even at the early hours of the morning. The room was nice, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom.

There were ants in our bathroom that spread to the bedroom during the night, even ending up in the bed. It was quite annoying to find ants even in my bag while on the way to the ferry.

The attention to detail, such as the sealed packs of emery boards and cotton tips left in the room each day, is a nice touch.

The rooms at this hotel are very large and characterful, with vaulted brick ceilings and a large, well-equipped bathroom. The staff were very good, and the prices for the rooms and the food in the attached restaurant were really rather good. The location is great, whether you are passing through or staying to explore the local area. The hotel is situated in a beautiful park, and there is a choice of three different restaurants on site.

The bar facility on site is very poor, and you have to walk over to the other hotel if you want a drink.
