From the moment I stepped into the beautifully decorated property, I was mesmerized by the modern decor and stunning artwork. The breakfast provided was simply delicious, with a wide range of options including fresh fruit salad, pastries, and even eggs cooked to order. The pool area was secluded and peaceful, surrounded by trees and equipped with plenty of comfortable sunbeds. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink, with the added bonus of a slice of cake in the afternoon. The room itself was incredibly spacious, with a gorgeous bathroom featuring a free-standing bath, shower, and twin basins. It truly felt like pure luxury. Additionally, I was impressed by the gym, steam room, and jacuzzi located in the basement. this hotel surpasses the standards of most 'Relais & Chateaux' establishments at a fraction of the price. Kudos to the owners for creating such an impeccable retreat.

Located in a restored castle surrounded by beautiful parkland, this small hotel offers a peaceful retreat. The rooms are stunning, with attention to detail and cleanliness. The breakfast is excellent and can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the fantastic gardens. The pool and spa areas are well-equipped, providing relaxation and rejuvenation. Guests can also easily access a nearby Thai restaurant for take-away food.

There is only one pillow provided per guest, which may not be very convenient for reading in bed.

I recently stayed at Chateau Maraval for a relaxing getaway. The beautifully maintained building and grounds, including a gorgeous garden and pool, made for a picturesque retreat. The friendly and helpful staff added to the warm atmosphere, and the optional breakfast was fantastic. I especially loved the spa in the basement, which could be used privately. a great stay at an absolutely recommended hotel.
