The room and bathroom were comfortable and spacious, providing a relaxing atmosphere during my Christmas stay. the hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the nearby restaurants and attractions. the secure parking was a bonus for peace of mind.

It would have been better if the air conditioning could be used without having to seek permission from the management. the cleanliness of the room and bathroom could have been improved, as there were stains on the carpet and a lingering smell of cigarettes.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the city centre. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the tourist sites. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and modern, with all the basic amenities I needed. I especially loved the walk-in shower and the air conditioning, which made my stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of food including decaff espresso and their special Poitou cake.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. the location was perfect, right in the centre of the city and within walking distance of all the major tourist sites. It made it so convenient to explore and get around. Secondly, the staff were friendly and provided great service. They were always ready to help with any queries or requests. Thirdly, the rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, especially the ones with the fold-out bed for the kids. The air conditioning was a welcome relief during the hot summer days. Lastly, I must mention the breakfast, which was delicious. I loved the decaf espresso and the Poitou cake, it added a special touch to start the day.

parking was problematic

during our recent golf trip to saintes, we had a fantastic stay at cit'hotel. the staff were incredibly helpful, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the breakfast selection was excellent. we especially appreciated the convenient on-site parking and the great location in the town centre. overall, a wonderful stay that exceeded our expectations.

Great location in old town, easy to explore on foot. Surprisingly spacious interior with original features incorporated. Room was compact yet comfortable with a well-equipped bathroom. Delicious traditional French breakfast with local delicacies. Reception staff extremely helpful before and during our stay.

The room was spacious and clean with tea and coffee facilities, as well as a drinks fridge. the location was convenient, being close to shops and restaurants. the staff were friendly and helpful when approached.

The hotel breakfast was not worth the money as most of the food options were already finished by 8:40 am. the soundproofing of the room was poor as we could hear noises from outside and from the gate closing nearby.

We stayed one night as a stopover on our way from The Netherlands to Portugal. The hotel is well located in the city center, with private parking space, and within walking distance of restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the rooftops. The fridge in the room and hot water were a plus. The hotel had a good breakfast with lots of choice and friendly, helpful staff. a great experience.

This was our fourth stay at Cit'Hotel and once again we were impressed. The rooms are beautifully modern and incredibly comfortable. The dining room has a charming French kitchen feel, and we absolutely loved the breakfast with its delicious Poitou cake. The location is perfect for evening arrivals, with easy access and a code for the main gate. The staff are always welcoming and helpful, and we enjoyed morning walks in the picturesque town of Saintes, with its stunning river views and lovely French cafes. Parking was convenient, with a nearby car park just a few meters away.
