The hotel had a great location near the village shops, beach, and a long promenade for walking. It was perfect for friends who enjoy going out at night.

There is no elevator in the hotel, so be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs. the village itself didn't have many attractions or activities to offer, so it may not be suitable for a longer stay.

We stayed at De Lion Sur Mer for one night and had a great experience. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the WW2 attractions, and it is also just a short walk from the beach. The hotel itself is clean and well-managed, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread and pastries. There is a supermarket nearby, as well as a pharmacy. we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at De Lion Sur Mer.

Warm welcome from the friendly family who run the place. Charming old-fashioned rooms with plans for updates in the future. Great location on the main road, making it easy to explore the city. Enjoyed the delicious breakfast with homemade preserves and a good selection of breads.

Limited parking spaces available outside and no on-site carpark. However, we were able to use the nearby supermarket carpark.

This quaint little hotel was more than adequate as a stop off on our route home. The room was comfortable and well decorated, with a good Wi-Fi connection once connected. The breakfast offered excellent value, with lots of delicious homemade jams. The hosts were extremely welcoming and always eager to please. The hotel also had a breakfast room and bar with plenty of choice for breakfast, and in the evening, the bar offered a limited range of food but the quality was excellent. The rooms were just the right size and the beds were reasonably comfortable. Parking was conveniently located just a minute's walk around the corner. It was a good place to stay before catching an early morning ferry, which was only 15 minutes away. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and even though we didn't have time for breakfast, it was a few yards from the sea and offered a perfect sunset. We wished we could have stayed longer to explore the interesting history of the town. we highly recommend this hotel as the hosts, staff, food, and atmosphere were better than most places we have previously stayed. Close to the beach and in a lovely clean town. Thank you to the hosts for making our stay a wonderful experience. Absolutely mind-blowing!
