Located conveniently for visiting war graves and enjoying French way of life, this budget hotel in Buckinghamshire offers basic but comfortable rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful, accommodating special diets and providing packed lunches. The breakfast includes continental favorites and a hot dish, like scrambled eggs. The location, though near the railway, is surprisingly quiet. Parking outside the hotel is straightforward and free after 6.00pm and on Sundays.

The reception staff were excellent and went out of their way to help. They provided us with a map of the local area and even called our room to let us know the time of a parade happening nearby. The hotel's location was very convenient, as it was close to the town center and local restaurants and shops. the room had a nice balcony, which was a pleasant surprise.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. there was no air conditioning in the room, so we had to leave the windows open.

The rooms were warm, comfortable, and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful, providing local knowledge and even filling our thermos flask for our departure. The location was great, just a 5-minute walk from the central plazas with excellent restaurants and activities nearby. We also loved the breakfast selection and found it worth the money.

I recently stayed at Hotel Moderne for a short trip and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me during my stay. I especially appreciated the free tea and coffee available all day, a nice touch. Despite the small dining area, the breakfast was delicious, with freshly squeezed orange juice and tasty croissants. The hotel's location was perfect, right across from the train station, and the soundproofing was excellent. a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Almost perfect.

Overnight stop over on route to Calais- perfect for when you have a very early crossing. Staff super friendly, room comfortable and clean and well worth the budget. Lots of restaurants very close by and only a 5 minute walk to the 2 main squares. Plenty of public parking outside. This was our 2nd stay, didn’t disappoint and will definitely use next time we are traveling UK/France route.

We had a fantastic stay at Moderne. the hotel is nice and clean, with a very modern design. the rooms were spacious and newly refurbished, offering great comfort, especially the beds. the quality of the hotel exceeded our expectations, similar to an Ibis but much better in terms of space, comfort, and condition. the location is very convenient, right across from the train station and within walking distance of the old town. It is also easily accessible by car, with safe underground parking nearby. the WiFi was good, and the simple but good breakfast for an additional EUR 10 was worth it, with great coffee available.

Great value for money and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, near the train station and a short walk from the beautiful square. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the lady receptionist who went above and beyond to fix our wifi issue.

The only thing that could have made breakfast better was having more variety of food options.

This hotel is conveniently located right on the square by the train station, making it very easy to reach. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms have a good shower. Despite the minimal storage space, the staff make sure the rooms are cleaned and towels are replaced regularly. The breakfast provided is also satisfying, offering a good start to the day.

All in all, everything was satisfactory and there was no major issue that needed improvement.
