I had a great experience staying at L'Absinthe in Honfleur. the location was perfect, with small streets to explore and a short walk to the beautiful harbour. the hotel itself was inviting, with a cozy lounge area complete with a large log fire. the spa baths were a luxurious touch, and the toiletries provided were lovely. the staff were friendly and helpful, even finding us secure parking for our motorbike. a comfortable and welcoming stay.

The rooms are large, with exposed beams and antique furnishings, creating a charming atmosphere. The bathrooms are spacious and equipped with luxurious amenities such as jacuzzi tubs and bath fizzies. The service is attentive and welcoming, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Guests can indulge in a delicious breakfast with fresh orange juice, French press coffee, and a variety of pastries.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the location is absolutely perfect - right on the harbour, within walking distance to everything. We loved being able to explore the charming town without having to travel far. And the fact that it's located over a really good restaurant was an added bonus! Secondly, the service provided by the staff was excellent. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and taken care of. They paid attention to every detail, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a terrace that offered breathtaking views of the harbor and the water. It was truly a treat to wake up to such a beautiful sight every morning. Lastly, I have to mention the breakfast served at this hotel. It was absolutely delightful, with fresh croissants that were the flakiest I've ever tasted. Eating breakfast on the water was such a lovely experience.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely historic hotel in a great location. The beautifully decorated rooms were spacious and comfortable, with nice linens and antique furnishings. The staff, particularly the young lady at check-in, were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. The bathroom had a large bathtub and lots of extra amenities. The hotel was also conveniently close to the harbor, shops, and dining. Although there were a few minor disappointments, such as the lack of coffee in the lobby the next morning, the overall experience was delightful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a charming and comfortable stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its wonderful location, beautiful rooms, and friendly staff.

Our weekend was amazing! We enjoyed a lovely complimentary breakfast with fresh orange juice and French press coffee. the view from the room was breathtaking, overlooking the harbor. the hotel's location was perfect, in the heart of a charming town with plenty of activities to do.

There was a bad smell near the hallway, which was a bit unpleasant. the menu at the restaurant wasn't very family friendly.

Conveniently located near the harbor with secure parking nearby. Spacious, well-maintained rooms with large bathrooms and Jacuzzi baths. Good breakfast selection. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel with original character.

We had a fantastic stay at L'Absinthe Hotel. The manager, Emanuel, warmly welcomed us and offered to help with our luggage. The location was perfect, right in the old city facing the canal, making everything easily accessible by foot. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The owner even gave us tickets to museums as a special birthday surprise. The breakfast, although basic, exceeded our expectations due to the friendly customer service.

I highly recommend this hotel.
