The hotel was very conveniently located in the center of Sarlat, making it easy to explore the old town and its picturesque surroundings. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist me with my needs, from helping me with my luggage to finding a taxi. I appreciated the flexibility and convenience of being able to enjoy a delicious self-service breakfast before heading out for the day.

I stayed at a hotel that was just a block from the center of the tourist area. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful city. The small reception area was cozy and welcoming. The room was clean and well presented, with a lovely view of the city streets. The staff provided attentive service and were friendly throughout my stay. The breakfast was fair and provided a good start to the day.

I was disappointed that there were no curtains in my room, which made it difficult to sleep in the morning.

our recent stay in sarlat-la-caneda was made even better by our short but wonderful stay at la couleuvrine. the location was unbeatable and the restaurant downstairs was fantastic. we loved exploring the old town and enjoyed the authentic charm of the hotel.
