The large bathtub and separate shower in the bathroom provided a touch of luxury and comfort after our day's adventures.

The bedroom was a bit darker due to its smaller window, which could be improved with some fresh paint and updated furniture.

Le Pavillon Des Lys, Hotel Particulier is a charming gem in Amboise. The attentive staff truly made our stay memorable, always ready to offer a helping hand. The breakfast was a lovely way to start our day, beautifully served and delicious. Our room was spacious and well-decorated, giving us a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The location allowed us to explore the town easily, making it ideal for our family adventure. We felt welcomed and at home throughout our time here, and it will always be a cherished memory for us!

Charming hotel, convenient location, with an air conditioning system that kept our room comfortably cool during our stay and on-site parking that took the hassle out of finding a spot.

The room felt a bit tired with dated furniture and wall coverings!!! The steep stairs to the top floor could pose a mobility issue for some guests!!! Bathroom quirks need addressing for a better experience!!!

the cottage was spacious with a comfy wide double bed and a nice patio. it has great air conditioning, perfect for the summer heat. the entrance to the parking lot is narrow, so be cautious. but it was a wonderful stay overall.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay, primarily because of the spacious and charming Patio Suite. The view from our terrace was perfect for morning coffees and evening wine. The breakfast options were delightful, allowing us to fuel up before exploring the local attractions like the nearby Chateau Amboise. We felt at home here, with helpful staff making our stay all the more special.

arriving at le pavillon des lys, I expected pure luxury, yet was met with disappointing quirks, like a leaking shower door and a chipped loo seat. it's not too much to ask for a complementary upgrade, is it? I almost considered giving a good review, but just couldn’t look past the glaring issues.

The staff was incredibly welcoming (the complimentary drink upon arrival was a lovely touch! ). The garden area is a beautiful retreat to unwind after exploring town. The location is superb, right in the midst of everything!

However, a bit more attention to the bathroom fixtures could improve the experience. Also, having coffee facilities in the room would be great!

Perfectly situated, the hotel allows easy access to local attractions while providing a peaceful retreat. The staff's willingness to assist with anything—whether it was laundry services or securing dinner reservations—was outstanding. Breakfast was exceptional, with freshly squeezed orange juice, a variety of breads, and delightful homemade jams. However, the bathroom lacked some modern fixtures, and the absence of a coffee maker in the room was noticeable. Additionally, the beds were quite firm, an adjustment I had to make during my stay.

Just a great match for a brief sojourn in Amboise with great value. The helpful staff even provided us with umbrellas when it started raining. Make sure to ask for a room with a view if possible!

The room was simple but cozy, perfect for a good night's sleep, and the quiet atmosphere was just what we needed. Oh, and the breakfast, they even adjusted the time for us, that was real considerate. Had this fantastic homemade jam that blew my mind, made the morning feel even more special.

Definitely not cheap, but the value made it still reasonable.
