I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and professional welcome I received at the hotel. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. The room was beautifully decorated, giving it a homely vibe. The breakfast spread was delicious and catered to everyone's tastes. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the surrounding neighborhood. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as a lack of vegan options and potential noise from pets, I would still highly recommend Alsterblick for its charm and attentive staff. The hotel itself was outdated with decor that was old-fashioned. the noise from the renovations next door was unbearable at times and the construction made it difficult to enjoy the view.

The staff is welcoming and the breakfast offers a good variety of hot and cold options. The hotel also has a unique old lift, adding to its charm.

The price for certain rooms may be too high, especially if located in the basement with limited views and difficulties in accessing with large luggage.

The room had a well-stocked minibar, a tea/coffee maker, and a free welcome bottle of water. The bed was super soft and I had a restful night's sleep. The breakfast spread offered a wide range of delicious and healthy options, including soy milk and vegetarian choices.
