We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received from the receptionist upon our arrival. She not only provided us with a parking ticket for our car but also invited us to the bar for a complimentary drink. The service was top-notch, with our luggage promptly delivered to our room. Speaking of the room, it was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The ample closet space allowed us to neatly store all our belongings. We were impressed by the spotless condition of the entire room. The hotel's bar was a happening place, and we particularly enjoyed the panoramic views of the Alps and the surrounding area from the cafe/restaurant on the top floor. Being located in the old town, the hotel offers a great opportunity for walking around and exploring the area. The breakfast was perfect, with a wide variety of options and delicious bread, including pretzels. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having our breakfast table reserved for us throughout our stay. The rooftop terrace with the jacuzzi was beautiful and provided a fabulous view. The overall comfort and ambiance of the hotel made our stay truly relaxing and indulgent.

While our stay was mostly exceptional, we did encounter a few minor issues. A warning or a possible price reduction would have been appreciated.

For the value we paid, our stay at Edelweiss was exceptional. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a luxurious tub and shower. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to most places. The staff treated us with great attention and were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Great room, fantastic views and close to everything. The breakfast buffet is wonderful with a terrific selection. The staff is so friendly and their English is far better than my pitiful German!! Check-in was extremely fast and efficient. Parking garage is easy to get in and out of. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to the area! I highly recommend this hotel!

As friends who enjoy going out at nights, the hotel had all the facilities and amenities we needed to have a wonderful stay.

While the hotel had many positives, there were a couple of drawbacks. I was disappointed that I couldn't control the air conditioning in my room.

As backpackers, we absolutely loved the outstanding pool and the gorgeous views from our room. The attached secured parking garage was convenient for us as we were driving. The breakfast had a lot of choices and the omelets were a daily favorite. The location of the hotel was perfect, with a store right out back and easy access to the city's attractions.
