From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff made us feel at home. Our room had stunning views of the castles, and the homemade breakfasts were a delightful treat, featuring freshly baked specialties. Plus, we enjoyed a lovely dinner with varied options—definitely try the local dishes like elk dumplings!

waldmann is perfectly located near neuschwanstein and hohenschwangau castles. our twin room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely atmosphere with good ventilation. breakfast was delightful, featuring fresh fruits, cheeses, and hot drinks, served in a sunny room. we appreciated the ample free parking available.

a mild critique would be the lack of an elevator, but it wasn't a major issue.

Charming hotel, wonderful location, with breathtaking views of both castles from our clean and comfortable room and easy access to local hiking trails that made exploring the beautiful area a delight.

The exhaust fan in our bathroom struggled to properly remove steam, leading to a damp environment after showers.

we loved our three-night stay at waldmann! the staff were super friendly and helpful. our quadruple room was clean and comfy. it's only a short walk to the castles. They offer bike rentals which we had fun using. breakfast was great, with plenty of options for everyone in our family.

a mild critique would be the shower pressure, which could use improvement.

I mean, who doesn't love a surprise room, right? Just wish I could've booked a spot on that elusive balcony—my tea would have looked fabulous!

The lack of an elevator is incredibly inconvenient for guests with heavy luggage!!! Restaurant closure on certain nights is a letdown!!! No air-conditioning makes hotter months uncomfortable!!! The pressure in the shower can be disappointingly low at times!!!
