The hotel is located in a great residential area with shops, restaurants, and bars nearby. The excellent bus route makes it easy to access downtown Hamburg. The rooms are clean and tidy, with some quirky and characterful 1950s fittings. The staff are friendly and the breakfast selection is good. Some rooms even offer a balcony with views of the courtyard and red squirrels.

The motel's decor may not appeal to everyone, as it has a very floral theme.

The breakfast selection is varied and delicious, providing a good start to the day. the motel offers the advantage of having garages, making it convenient for guests with cars.
