Riverside location near downtown, excellent service, and great food. Walkway by the river offers easy access to the marina and countryside. Room with a view and bathrobes provided. A good choice for a stay in town.

The room was cozy, with a beautiful view of the river. We loved the spa bath and took a relaxing dip. The restaurant was amazing and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Even though the TV had poor reception, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

Great location and excellent view over the waterway for sunset/happy hour drinks. Professional staff from reception to breakfast kitchen. Well-presented room with lots of little extras. Very clean and comfy huge bed. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Many power points and well-considered room lighting. Convenient amenities like washing machine and dryer. Excellent service during breakfast. Comfortable stay.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel by the river! The staff here are so friendly and always happy to help. I loved the room service and housekeeping, everything was so clean and tidy. The balcony was a great feature, I loved sitting in the sun and enjoying the garden furniture outside. The staff here really know how to make you feel welcome with a free welcome drink and tours/ticket assistance.

I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The complementary breakfast and parking were nice. the hotel had a great view of the water, which made for a nice atmosphere.

The room was outdated, and the beds were uncomfortable. There was also a lot of noise from other guests in the hotel, which made it hard to sleep.

we had a fantastic stay at the hotel. the reception staff, particularly a helpful lady named Robin, went above and beyond to assist us with our travel arrangements in Ablel Tasman and Blenheim. the location of the hotel was excellent, and the restaurant came highly recommended. the rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff provided great recommendations for activities and dining options. We were also pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious Family King size room with luxurious amenities, including a spa tub and triple shower head. We can't recommend this place enough for their exceptional service.

I had a very pleasant stay at Tides Hotel. The location was great, with beautiful views of the river from some of the rooms. The hotel was clean and the food at the restaurant was good. I also appreciated the helpful and friendly staff.
