From the moment we arrived, the chommies at reception were so friendly, it felt like family. The staff helped us score quad bikes without any hassle and even one of them lent my partner his own jacket! That was such a jol. Breakfast had a lekker mix of local goodies, too!

The only downside was the room could’ve used a bit of a refresh, but with all the good vibes around, we didn’t mind too much.

The spacious room had breathtaking views of Ornos Bay, and the breakfast included delicious options like fresh fruits, local delicacies, and a variety of pastries. The staff went above and beyond, offering helpful recommendations and arranging transportation effortlessly.

The hotel is situated on a steep hill, which could be a challenge if you’re on foot. It’s best to rent a car for easy access to the nearby locations.

Despite the breathtaking views, my experience at Mykonos Essence was marred by several disappointments. The location is on a steep hill, which made every return from the beach a strenuous climb. Additionally, even though I had high hopes for the breakfast, I found it repetitive, lacking the variety that one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. To top it off, the lack of soundproofing meant that I could hear other guests coming home late into the night, which significantly disrupted my sleep.

stayed at mykonos essence adults only and it was just amazin. the staff were super frendly and made us feel at home. loved the daily brekkie with local goodies, even tho i wished for more variety sometimes. the views from our room were to die for, especially at sunset, and the pool area was so chill. it’s just a few mins walk to ornos beach, which is perfect for lazing around.

the shower could be a lil tricky since water splashed out a bit, and the hill leading up to the hotel was kinda steep.

The paths to the hotel are a maze—felt like I was on a reality show. And if you’re not a fan of climbing hills post-beach, you might need a personal Sherpa!

mykonos essence adults only was fantastic! the staff were super friendly and attentive. we really enjoyed our lovely spacious room with a nice sea view and a huge balcony. breakfast had good options. The hotel's restaurant was delicious. the location is great too, just a short walk to the beach and bus stop for mykonos town.
