Staying at Reserva Natural Atitlan felt like being in a live-action version of a nature documentary! Our room was nestled right in the jungle, and we were treated to monkey sightings at breakfast – surprise guests you never expected! The zip-lining gave us a rush as we soared above the treetops, and the breathtaking views of the lake and volcanoes made me feel like I was floating with the clouds. Every corner was a new adventure, and even the breakfast terrace seemed to be designed for hummingbirds on holiday! Truly unforgettable!

Restaurant closing early.

The restaurant's early closing at 5 p.m. was a real letdown, especially when there aren't many other dining options nearby. Additionally, the lack of adequate space for belongings in the room, coupled with occasional ant and mosquito issues, was bothersome. We also experienced some noise disturbances from nearby families, which disrupted our sleep. The tuktuk availability was inconsistent, making late-night returns to the hotel tricky.

The butterfly dome was absolutely mind-blowing, like being in a scene from a movie, ja. Also, brekkie under those blooming vines was so chill, with lekker vegan options. Plus, spotting coatis while eating was a next-level experience, felt like a bush adventure!

Just a heads-up, some signs on the trails could do with a bit more clarity, so I was a bit lost at times.

We cycled over the coffee plantation and enjoyed nature walks. The staff were super nice, and breakfast was tasty. Grab a tuk-tuk to head downtown, but be mindful of their hours. Definitely check out the reserve. it's a must-experience!

One downside was the restaurant closing early. We missed dinner after a day out, so keep that in mind if you're planning to eat there.

Really cool property! The staff was friendly and super helpful (shoutout to Viviana! ). Loved being just a 20 min walk to busy Panajachel. The location is surrounded by tropical jungle, which really adds to the experience!

Staying with 20 family members was incredible! We enjoyed zip-lining through the breathtaking views and crossed hanging bridges that made for memorable family moments. Each day included peaceful walks in the butterfly garden, which was a fantastic escape from the busy town.

My kids wished for more activities suitable for their age.
