I had an amazing time at this property! the views of the lake and the volcanoes were absolutely stunning and created a peaceful atmosphere. the individual villas were beautifully decorated and comfortable, with interesting art and large picture windows that allowed for bird watching and enjoying the natural beauty. the staff at Balam Ya were also incredibly understanding and helpful when we had to cut our visit short. I really hope to be able to return again.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The view was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning vistas of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. The location was perfect, just outside a small village where we got to see the indigenous people in their unique clothes. The hotel staff provided exceptional service, taking care of all our needs and ensuring our stay was comfortable. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with a kitchen that allowed us to cook our own meals. The hotel also offered various amenities such as laundry service and airport shuttle, making our stay even more convenient. we had a truly unforgettable experience.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access down to the property's private dock on the lake. We enjoyed the convenience of being close to the shore, allowing us to easily partake in activities such as kayaking and paddleboarding. Additionally, the proximity to everything in the area made it convenient for exploring the surrounding attractions.

It would have been even better if there was a restaurant on the property, as we would have preferred to dine in rather than having to go out for meals.

The views at Balam Ya are breathtaking, perfect for watching sunsets. Villas are cozy with well-equipped kitchens. Convenient boat access and a stunning dock for relaxing. Thoughtful breakfast delivery and friendly staff.

Felt like a home away from home, nothing to complain about.

Great breakfast and friendly staff. the breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, and cereals. the staff was very friendly and always willing to help us with anything we needed. the location was good too, close to all the parties but far enough away so we could have a peaceful stay. We also loved the stunning view, it was breathtaking.

The room was very dirty and not well maintained. the bed sheets were old and wrinkled, and the bed net was stained and dusty.
