Guava Grove was exactly what we had hoped for. Quiet, away from the regular tourist traffic with both North American and Honduran culture perspectives from our knowledgeable hosts. Cheryl and Alex were friendly and accommodating, providing delicious plates with fresh seafood and taking us snorkeling where we saw an incredible variety of marine life. The property was well kept, with a beautiful sea view from our comfy room. The breakfast was delicious and made with eggs from their own chickens. The ambiance was familial and we enjoyed meeting and visiting with other guests. Perfect for remote work!

our recent honeymoon in sandy bay exceeded our expectations. the staff at guava grove resort & villas were friendly & welcoming. the location was perfect for our rental car. we loved the daily breakfast, hot water in the shower, and the refreshing pool. Sheryl's tips made our activities enjoyable.

We had a fantastic time at this cozy resort in Roatan. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to dive shops. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a great view of the sea. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and tasty options. The beautiful garden and swimming pool added to the relaxing atmosphere of the resort.

That the fans and electrics had a few issues, but the owners were quick to fix them.

I had an amazing stay at this hidden gem on Roatan. The location was like a paradise within paradise, surrounded by lush gardens and offering a breathtaking view of the reef. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with ensuite baths and a small kitchen area. The service provided by Cheryl and her staff was outstanding, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. I had an amazing experience at this resort. From the moment Cheryl, the owner, picked us up from the airport and gave us a tour of the area, we knew we were in good hands. the villa we stayed in was perfect—clean and fully equipped for cooking. We enjoyed the cool breezes in the evening and the comfortable accommodations. the food at the on-site restaurant, Guava Grove Grill, was phenomenal—we couldn't get enough of the delicious menu offerings. the pool with its swim-up bar was a great place to relax, and the regular water aerobics sessions were a fun way to stay active. the proximity to the beach allowed us to snorkel and take leisurely walks to nearby bars and restaurants. the resort also organized evening gatherings where we met wonderful new friends and enjoyed great conversation.

Oh, and walking kilometers on terrible roads just to get into town? So much fun, totally worth it.
